Take America Back!

We must take our country back so that we can make the necessary decisions about our lives, our future, our debtload.  The Declaration says: "We the People" not "We the politicians."

The people running our government have decided that the people are not capable of taking care of themselves.  We need big government to make sure that we eat right, sleep right, go to the right schools, drive the right cars, do their bidding and generally become pliant, submissive little bits of humanity that are properly taken care of.

We the people know that this isn't what we need and it sure as heck isn't what we want.  Despite the  myriad of polls that state that we do not want many of the policies the current administration is trying to foist on us, the presient and his minions continue to forge forward against our will.  They intend to force health care down our throats with the barest of majorities and will then proceed to regulate virtually every aspect of our lives in the interest of keeping us healthy and insurance costs down.  When the democrats were out of power, they said that it was wrong to impose legislation on the people under the conditions we are currently facing.  Many democrats are saying that it is wrong to impose legislation on the people in this fashion even though it is their party that is attempting to use the reconciliation process.  Will those that oppose the process stand up for those principals when it comes time to take a vote?  we can only hope so.

2010 is an important year for our country.  The November elections will decide whether we are to follow the suicidal path of our current government or whether we stop and try to bring Washington under control.  It will be a difficult journey no matter what your political persuasion.  If you believe our country needs to retrench, refocus and start on a new path, this is the place to be.  Come join me as we search for the way to hold our government accountable and take our country back for the people - especially for our children and grandchildren.
